RE-VIEW
RE-VIEW is a period of reflection for cross-cultural workers (individuals, couples and families) in transition. Opportunity is given to process the missionary journey with experienced cross-cultural workers who care and to gain perspective on the next phase of life. Register for RE-VIEW here
A third party debriefing provides the extra time, experience and confidentiality that missionary organizations may not be able to offer. As well, sharing and learning with other transitioning missionaries in a small group setting has proven to be very enriching.
Missionaries transitioning from living cross-culturally have stories of joys and challenges. Debriefing their experience honours God’s call by recognizing and celebrating His fingerprints along the journey.
✽ RE-VIEW East is offered in Ontario and RE-VIEW West is offered in Alberta. Please see the MORE Network’s website for more information for RE-VIEW East and West.
“Providing emotional help… brings people to greater health and healing. Research indicates that some people who do not receive a debriefing feel devalued. Those who receive a debriefing tend to find it a positive experience and have fewer trauma-related symptoms.”

When Should I Attend?
When you choose to attend our programs is very important. For RE-VIEW, we advise if possible that you attend after you have spent an initial 2-3 months of resettling in your passport country which will help identify the issues of importance and concern for you and your children. We recognize that accommodating to this ideal timeline may be challenging. Feel free to contact us about your concerns.
Whole-Family Debriefing
We believe in whole-family debriefing because we know that parents and children have a lot to unpack and process during re-entry.
Children in Transition
Temporary re-entry and repatriation can come with significant challenges for Missionary Kids (MKs) as they grieve the people and places they've lost and try to adjust to their passport culture which often feels unfamiliar.
Our Commitment
That is why RE-VIEW is designed to welcome children of all ages—from babies and toddlers all the way up to and including teenagers.
We Provide
- Concurrent Processing: While parents engage in structured debriefing sessions to process their adult re-entry experience, their children and teens participate in a parallel program.
- MK Peer Support: Children and teens gain immense benefit from connecting with other Missionary Kids (MKs) who uniquely understand the complex feelings of transition. We are committed to providing a safe space for MKs to share their stories.
- Shared Language & Tools: Every RE-VIEW program includes a significant whole-family debriefing activity, providing a shared space to reflect, honor the experiences you navigated together, and commit to moving forward as a family unit.
